How do we work?

The Td-PSG traces its roots back to 2007 and has evolved from the internationally recognized Global Transdisciplinary Phosphorus Management (Global TraPs) project. Over the years, the group has published numerous scientific papers and books and has actively contributed to global policy and consultancy initiatives. The group will work under the lead of Amit Roy (practice) and the science representative Roland W. Scholz, and Jana Zscheischler (Principle) as a virtual transdisciplinary research group. The Td-PSG aims to participate in, initiate, and apply for transdisciplinary research projects, e.g., in collaboration with universities.

The group meets virtually two to three times per month to coordinate ongoing activities, share research updates and plan future projects.

In addition, we host three to four open discussions each year—our Td-PSG Mutual Learning Sessions—where we invite participants to explore and discuss emerging topics in phosphorus management. These sessions are designed to identify promising subjects for new transdisciplinary research initiatives.

We also welcome external guests and collaborators from science and practice interested in sustainable phosphorus management.
